Alexander W. Hucklesby

Alex Hucklesby co-founded Phoenix Partners’ London office in 2008.
Prior to joining Phoenix, Mr. Hucklesby served for two years as head of High Grade Credit Derivatives and Fixed Income for Mint Equities Ltd, where he launched that firm’s High Grade and High Yield operations from the ground up. He went to Mint Equities from Axiom Global Partners where he initially served as senior broker for credit default swaps and lastly was in charge of its London operations. Earlier, he had held positions of increasing responsibility with ICAP, Cantor Index and Cantor Fitzgerald International (now BGC Partners), becoming Partner in 1997. Hucklesby also spent time in the technology arena and in 2000 was co founder of weComm, a leading provider of mobile streaming data solutions to the financial and betting markets.
Mr. Hucklesby is a graduate of Eton College and Bristol University. An avid wine collector, Hucklesby’s interests also include a love of the Swiss Alps, a passionate pursuit of Bullfighting and all things Spanish and Chelsea Football Club.
