Phoenix Partners Group Names Paul Toldalagi COO, and Alfred Dedona CFO
Paul Toldalagi joins as Chief Operating Officer and Alfred DeDona as Chief Financial Officer
2009.02.02 : New York – Phoenix Partners Group, a leading interdealer credit derivatives broker, announced today the appointments of Paul Toldalagi as Chief Operating Officer and Alfred DeDona as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.
Dr. Toldalagi was previously a Managing Member of Business Technology Associates, LLC, where he provided strategic advisory services as well as business technology, risk management, and operations services to hedge funds and large asset managers. Earlier, he was Chief Business Technology Officer of Azimuth Alternative Assets and worked at Zurich Financial Services, where he oversaw technology and operations for the global insurance giant’s investment arm. Dr. Toldalagi also served as a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and as a foreign diplomat in the U.S., accredited by the State Department.
Dr. Toldalagi earned his MS and PhD degrees from MIT. He attended business school at Boston University and holds degrees from the école Normale Supérieure and ENST in Paris.
Mr. DeDona has more than 20 years of extensive global experience in financial management, brokerage processes, profit improvement, trading information and global markets. Most recently he was Chief Administrative Officer at Fusion Analytical Securities, where he oversaw all new business development, finance, and day-to-day operations. Earlier, he was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where he created and oversaw the Global Brokerage and Clearing financial efficiency groups for all institutional and retail business, providing product profitability, and expenses management across all products.
Mr. DeDona holds a BS degree in Finance from Saint John’s University. He is a member of the Securities Industry Association and the Futures Industry Association.
