Phoenix Partners Group Partners with Inner-City Youth Organization Harlem RBI - Firm Donates $25,000 and Youth Mentoring Services
New York - Phoenix Partners Group, a leading interdealer broker with offices in New York, London, and Paris, announced today a charitable partnership with Harlem RBI, a local organization that provides educational and after-school sports programming to teach area children leadership, confidence, and good citizenship. Phoenix will provide the charitable organization with ongoing youth mentoring services as well as $25,000 in financial support.
Harlem RBI’s innovative sports and study program leverages the excitement of baseball to involve inner-city youths in athletic and academic activities that promote teamwork, self-esteem, and civic duty. Through this new partnership, Phoenix Partners will provide a full season of funding support for one of Harlem RBI’s baseball teams, as well as provide ongoing mentoring support and host a career day to help kids and teens in the program better understand potential professional opportunities in finance.
“At Phoenix, our philanthropic activities focus primarily on supporting local organizations making meaningful impacts within underserved communities, and we are extraordinarily proud to be able to provide some much-needed assistance to Harlem RBI, an exceptional organization that certainly fits the bill,” said Marcos Brodsky, founding managing director of Phoenix Partners Group. “We are very excited to do our part to help Harlem RBI show these deserving kids that they can do great things if they set their minds to it.”
